The Ritz-Carlton expands empire with Los Angeles Residences
By Rachel LambThe Ritz-Carlton is giving its customers the ultimate homeowning experience by opening the Ritz-Carlton Residents at LA Live that provide all of the brand’s signature luxury hotel amenities such as room service, a personal doorman and VIP access to Los Angeles nightlife.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences consists of 224 units. Sixty percent of the residences are already in escrow as of Feb. 15.
“The Residences are the permanent embodiment of The Ritz-Carlton brand,” said Elizabeth Lascaze, publicist for The Ritz-Carlton Residents at LA Live, Los Angeles. “They offer the benefits of home ownership complemented by the legendary services of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
“Location is everything, and The Ritz-Carlton Residences at LA Live is just steps from the city’s best in entertainment, sports, nightlife, live performances and fine dining offerings,” she said. “Designed as Los Angeles’ most exclusive address, The Ritz-Carlton Residences at LA Live is one of the first luxury brand collection of homes built within a vibrant sports and entertainment district.
“The Ritz-Carlton Residences at LA Live is everything that you would expect from The Ritz-Carlton Hotel experience and more.”
The Ritz-Carlton lifestyle
The Residences occupy the top half of the 54-story building that also holds the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott Hotel Los Angeles, on two and a half acres of the LA Live campus.
Homeowners are offered a private entrance and elevator, facilities including a sky lobby with a landscaped terrace, a round-the-clock valet and a residential lounge with a private board and media room.
Residents can choose from one-, two- and three-bedroom units and 12 penthouses with floor-to-ceiling views of the downtown skyline, the San Gabriel Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
Homeowners are also privy to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel’s offerings, including a 24-hour residential concierge, valet parking and access to the private pool, fitness center and the Ritz-Carlton Spa.
LA Live is a sport, entertainment and residential district in downtown Los Angeles adjacent to entertainment hubs the Staples Center and the Convention Center, and future home to new NFL stadium, Farmers Field.
Another residential perk, the “All Access Living” program, provides residents special privileges in the exclusive Los Angeles downtown scene.
Breaking ground
The brand already has Residences all over the world in locales such as New York, Philadelphia, Singapore, Toronto, Bangkok and Grand Caymens.
Furthermore, Ritz-Carlton has over 70 hotels around the world, including a recently-opened location in Toronto Feb. 16.
The brand prides itself on offering traditional luxury service to its guests all over the world, whether or not they are guests for the weekend or owning a housing unit.
“When it comes to selecting new properties to add to The Ritz-Carlton portfolio, we have never stopped listening to what our customers have been asking us for,” said Bob Kharazmi, global officer of worldwide operations at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., Chevy Chase, Maryland. “Drawing on themes of locale relevance, The Ritz-Carlton adopts design strategies to enhance the brand image in an increasingly global marketplace.”
