Jones to close more stores, cut jobs
Jones Group Inc. will accelerate a store-closure plan, shutting roughly 170 underperforming stores by the middle of next year, while slashing roughly 8 percent of the workforce in a bid to bolster profitability, according to The Wall Street Journal.
