French luxury resale platform Vestiaire Collective is inviting fans of a popular cinematic universe to its site.

Creating a shoppable moment, the online retailer has unveiled an exclusive online edit timed to the release of “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” gathering more than 500 pre-loved pieces inspired by the wardrobes of both the original film and the sequel. Now live, Vestiaire Collective’s list pairs rare pre-loved finds with red-carpet-worthy pieces from houses including Dior, Gabriela Hearst, Mugler, Schiaparelli and Valentino.

“With this dedicated edit, we wanted to give our community the keys to master that iconic aesthetic through pre-loved fashion,” said Gayaneh Guiragossian, style and artistic director at Vestiaire Collective, in a statement.

The Vestiaire Collective x “The Devil Wears Prada 2” wardrobe reflects what the franchise has come to represent stylistically, mirroring an evolved visual language that combines vintage wear with contemporary classics from labels such as Jacquemus and Toteme.

Referencing the original 2006 film, Chanel staples such as the tailored blazer worn by Andy after her transformation headline Vestiaire Collective’s latest selection. Another key piece, this one sourced from the sequel, includes a Coach leather shoulder bag.

“It’s about making the high-fashion world of Runway accessible, while proving that the sharpest, most sophisticated styles are already out there - waiting to be rediscovered,” Vestiaire Collective’s Ms. Guiragossian said, in a statement.

Earlier this year, Vestiaire Collective debuted an edit featuring handpicked vintage styles inspired by the plot of the FX television series “Love Story” (see story).
