British menswear label Dunhill is melding traditional dress influences with an edgy attitude in its latest promotional piece.

For the brand’s spring/summer 2026 campaign, it is melding the seasonal selection’s aristocratic English designs with an unexpected inspiration. The rebellious nature of the nation’s rock music icons are instilled across various photographs and short video clips, the house highlighting the collection’s bespoke tailoring with the help of a cast of models who embrace the composure of legendary stage performers.

Shot by New York-based photographer Ethan James Green, the visuals pair back the luxury campaign’s setting to a series of flat, neutral-toned backdrops.

Through this restrained look, creative director Simon Holloway seeks to place the focus of the initiative back on the clothing and on the quiet confidence of models Orfeo Tagiuri, Jon Paul Phillips and Adam Sattrup.

The campaign, composed mostly of Mr. Green’s photography, sees the trio confidently donning the ready-to-wear, outerwear, eveningwear, and leather goods from the spring/summer assemblage in front of taupe-colored walls.

Suits inspired by the outfits of King Charles and the Rolling Stones’ drummer Charlie Watts appear throughout the initiative. Mr. Phillips is seen in the tailored formalwear in both stills and a short video; the latter of which captures the model and actor in a dark blue pinstripe ensemble, subtly smiling to the camera as throwback rock tunes fill in the silence.

Meanwhile, images of Mr. Sattrup show the talent in a variety of leather jackets, bomber jackets and driving jackets, his hair tousled back as the menswear label evokes British rock stars of old. Mr. Tagiuri represents the outerwear selection, sporting long overcoats, double-breasted blazers and Art Deco-inspired eveningwear, visually referencing the flamboyant looks of iconic fictional character Jay Gatsby.

The spring/summer 2026 collection is available now in-store and on Dunhill’s website.

Return to roots
Dunhill’s latest seasonal launch contrasts greatly with last year’s marketing.

While spring/summer 2025 focused on urban formalwear with notes of British classicism, the new release instead uplifts looks of the past with a contemporary cultural twist. This renewed focus on brand signatures follows a larger trend in the luxury apparel space, which has paid dividends for many industry staples.

Fashion labels Ralph Lauren and Burberry benefited freated from this strategy to close 2025, with the two brands among the top risers of the Lyst Index in Q4, both landing in the top 10 (see story).

Luxury icons Gucci (see story) and Louis Vuitton (see story) are also leaning into the trend, emphasizing heritage codes and signature looks from the past century and change.
