Harrods pushes products via Oscar-inspired looksWith the Academy Awards quickly approaching, London-based Harrods is promoting its luxury products via an Oscar-inspired email newsletter.

The email newsletter features two looks from Academy Award-nominated films “The Black Swan” and “The Social Network.” Harrods uses its email database to push information to affluent consumers in the hopes of influencing their purchase intent.
