Rue La La curates new experiences for affluent New Yorkers

Flash sales site Rue La La has expanded its local picks feature to the Big Apple where affluent New Yorkers will be presented with behind-the-scenes luxury items and experiences at fleeting prices.

Rue La La started in Boston and expanded to Philadelphia and Seattle in 2010, where consumers there have been purchasing packages such as gym memberships and behind-the-scenes tours. Rue Local Picks are similar to Gilt Groupe's Gilt City as they only last for a limited time.
